A boutique bar in Shoreditch required an audio environment that could move naturally from relaxed early-evening service to higher-energy late-night sessions. The long room, exposed brickwork, polished flooring, metal finishes and extensive glazing produced strong reflections and noticeable changes in sound level between the bar, lounge seating and entrance. The design therefore focused on controlled coverage and independent zoning, allowing each area to operate at an appropriate level without disturbing conversation or creating excessive energy around the bar. Low-frequency distribution was carefully balanced to retain warmth and impact whilst avoiding localised build-up, and operating presets were prepared for daytime ambience, evening playlists, private functions and DJ-led events. Following commissioning and final tuning, the venue achieved clear, full-bodied music across the entire floor, with smooth transitions between zones, improved comfort for guests and straightforward control for staff.
